NVIDIA to build facilities in Texas for AI supercomputers with local partnerships

Governor Greg Abbott announced NVIDIA's decision to build two supercomputer manufacturing facilities in Texas. The facilities will be established in Houston, in partnership with Foxconn, and in Dallas, with Wistron as the partner. It is expected that production will start in the next 12 to 15 months.

Governor Abbott expressed his satisfaction with NVIDIA's decision: “Texas is where the future of innovation is building,” he stated. He continued by congratulating NVIDIA for their investment in Houston and Dallas, highlighting that these are their first all-American-made AI supercomputers. Governor Abbott emphasized Texas's leading position in semiconductor manufacturing and technological advancements. He remarked, “As demand for technologies powered by artificial intelligence continues to grow, we will work with industry leaders from around the globe to accelerate production, ensure supply chain resilience, and lead the American resurgence in advanced manufacturing from Texas.”
