U.S. Congressman Michael McCaul has shared his views on the record-low border crossings reported for March under the Trump administration. McCaul, who serves as chairman emeritus of the House Homeland Security Committee, commented on the significance of the declining numbers.

McCaul stated, “Month after month, the Trump administration continues to prove that deterrence works. I've dealt with the border for more than 25 years, and I’ve never seen border crossings this low." He attributed this trend to the effectiveness of the current administration's policies, noting, "These numbers are a testament to the dedication of our brave border patrol agents and to President Trump’s strong immigration policies, which are restoring order to the chaos caused by Biden’s reckless open border."

McCaul's remarks highlight his support for the ongoing border strategies and the efforts of border patrol agents in lowering crossings.
