Governor Greg Abbott has announced the reappointment of Keith Miears to the Commercial Oyster Mariculture Advisory Board. Miears' term will extend until February 1, 2030.

The board is responsible for regulating the commercial oyster mariculture industry.

Keith Miears, a resident of Rockport, is retired from a career in the tech industry that spanned over three decades. He currently holds the position of president at the Texas Oyster Mariculture Association and serves on the board of FlatsWorthy. Miears is an alumnus of the DeVry Institute, where he earned a degree in electronics.
