Governor Greg Abbott has announced the reappointment of Kathy Kabell and Rev. Moises Molina, along with the new appointment of John Fisher, to the OneStar Foundation. Their terms will extend until March 15, 2028. The foundation supports Texas’ volunteer community by offering technical assistance, education, and information to strengthen volunteerism and community service.

Kathy Kabell from Wichita Falls is a supervisory manager at MWH Group, PC, and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She holds memberships in several professional organizations including the Texas Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. Kabell also serves in various leadership roles within her community and received her education from Midwestern State University.

Rev. Moises Molina is an associate pastor based in Brownsville. He contributes his time as director and president of STORGE Kids and serves on the board for Rio Grande Valley Ministries. Molina is advancing his studies in theology while holding degrees in business management from UT-Rio Grande Valley.

John Fisher hails from Temple and is a retired Special Agent from the Texas Department of Public Safety. His affiliations include local clubs and associations like Contemporaries of Temple Texas and the Marine Corps League. Fisher has a background in criminal justice education from Kaplan University.
