Monica De La Cruz responds positively to President Trump's joint address

Congresswoman Monica De La Cruz of Texas shared her thoughts following President Trump's Joint Address. In a video statement, she expressed support for the president's vision for America.

"Tonight, America heard President Trump's plan to restore American greatness," De La Cruz stated. She emphasized the unity among Republicans in their commitment to providing practical solutions for the nation. "It was an honor to hear from President Trump tonight, and I will continue to work alongside the Trump Administration to deliver wins for South Texas and our entire nation."

De La Cruz highlighted her personal connection to the American dream as the granddaughter of Mexican farmers. She appreciated President Trump's focus on strengthening the country. "In Congress, we are working to secure the border, strengthen the economy, and protect our grandparents' benefits," she said.

She praised President Trump's efforts in addressing border security and reducing unnecessary spending. "President Trump is delivering on his promises: ending Biden's madness at the border so we have safe communities...eliminating unnecessary spending...and, together with Congress, we're going to lower taxes," De La Cruz noted.
