Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. 3. Approve Minutes of meeting held August 26, 2024.

4. Authorize Executive Director to set date, time, place and appoint Hearing Examiner for hearing on supplemental assessment roll.

5. Receive update from Finance Committee.

a. Receive Assessment Collection Report.

b. Receive monthly financial reports and approve payment of invoices.

6. Set the date, time and place of the property exclusion public hearing.

7. Receive update from the Comprehensive Planning Study.

8. Receive update from Public Safety.

9. Receive updates and recommendations from Business & Economic Development Committee.

a. Consider sponsorship request from Daya for its Annual Luncheon Gala, Rewritten: Love Letters for Tomorrow at the Junior League of Houston on September 29, 2024.

b. Consider sponsorship request from Harris County Public Library for its Institute of Museum and Library Services Award Luncheon at the Junior League of Houston on October 14, 2024.

c. Consider sponsorship request from Scenic Houston honoring Mayor John Whitmire and Welcome Wilson Sr. at the Houston Country Club on October 24, 2024.

d. Consider sponsorship request from HOPE Clinic for its 22nd Anniversary Luncheon at the River Oaks Country Club on October 17, 2024.

10. Receive updates and recommendations from Environmental & Urban Design Committee.

a. Task order to remove infected roses on Bellaire and replacing with new plants.

b. Consider Field Service Inspection proposal from SMC Landscape Services.

11. Receive Executive Director’s Report.
