Greater Southeast Management District Board of Directors met Sept. 11.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum and call meeting to order. 

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person.  State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in  accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to  insult, abuse, malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privileges.) 

3. Approve Minutes from August 14, 2024, Board meetings.    

4. Receive General Manager’s Monthly Report 

5. District Administration:  

a. Receive Assessment Collection Reports 

 b. Consider a Resolution Ordering Preparation of Supplemental Assessment Roll and Authorizing the Setting of a Public Hearing and The Issuance of Notice of Public Hearing. 

6. Receive Updates and Recommendations from the Budget & Finance Committee: 

a. Receive Financial Reports  

b. Consider Recurring and Non-Recurring Expenses  

7. Receive Updates and Recommendations from District Services and Improvements: 

a. Receive Enhanced Public Safety Report 

b. Environmental, Urban Design, and Visual Improvement Services: 

 i. Discuss Park at Palm Center Ribbon Cutting Event, Farmers Market and Park Operations and authorize Budget in a not-to-exceed amount 

c. Business and Economic Development 

i. Consider Business Improvement Grant Award for Realinc Entrepreneur Association LLC “The Market at  Emancipation” and authorize Budget in a not-to-exceed amount  

 ii. Consider Demolition Grant for 5613 Almeda LLC and authorize Budget in a not-to-exceed amount 

d. Marketing, Public Relations, and Perception Enhancement Services: 

 i. Discuss Sponsorship Opportunity for Career Recovery Golf Tournament and authorize Budget in a not-to-exceed  amount
