HISD Nutrition Services will continue to provide breakfast and lunch through the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and National School Lunch Program (NSLP) for the 2024-2025 school year.

Most HISD students will have the opportunity to receive school breakfast and lunch meals at no charge. However, students attending specific schools must complete the Free/Reduced Price Meal Application to receive meals based on their individual eligibility status. The schools requiring this application are:

- Kinder High School for Performing and Visual Arts

- Horn Elementary

- Travis Elementary

- Oak Forest Elementary

- River Oaks Elementary

- West University Elementary

- Roberts Elementary

Parents or guardians from these schools can complete the application at https://schoolcafe.com/HoustonISD. The evaluation will categorize each student as Free, Reduced, or Paid for all meals consumed. Student eligibility status is kept confidential.

For a printed copy of the application and instructions in English or Spanish, or for any questions or support, contact the Student Eligibility and Accountability department at (713) 491-5944 or eligibilityinfo@houstonisd.org.

Students attending other HISD schools may continue to receive school lunch and breakfast at no cost.
