HISD hosting career information sessions for prospective school nurses

HISD’s Health and Medical department is organizing two virtual Career Information Sessions for individuals interested in becoming school nurses within the District.

The sessions are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1, from 2:30-3:30 p.m., and Thursday, Aug. 8, from 2:30-3:30 p.m. They will cover details on the recruitment and selection process, eligibility requirements, compensation, and benefits.

Eligible candidates must hold a license to practice in the state of Texas and be CPR/AED certified.
