Brays Oaks Management District Board of Directors met June 18.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.
2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law, Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privilege).
3. Recognize Swim Houston Aquatics Center for their contributions to the Brays Oaks Management District.
4. Approve Minutes of meeting held on May 21, 2024.
5. Receive Assessment Collection Report.
6. Receive monthly financial report and approve invoices for payment.
7. Receive update from Business and Economic Development Committee.
8. Receive update from Public Safety Committee.
9. Receive update and recommendations from Beautification and Urban Design Committee.
a. Consider Price Wagener Task Order for additional esplanade maintenance on Chimney Rock.
10. Receive update from Infrastructure Committee.
11. Receive update and recommendations from the community development committee regarding the following application for support funding within the district:
a. Consider support funding request from India House.
b. Consider support funding for HPD Back 2 School Supply Drive.
12. Consider cancelling July board and committee meetings.
13. Consider conducting a board member workshop.
14. Discuss vacant board position.
15. Receive Executive Director’s monthly report.
