Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign, or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privileges).

3. Approve Minutes of meeting held April 22, 2024.

4. Consider Resolution Waiving Automatic Resignation of Board Member Sandra Mooney.

5. Receive updates and recommendations from the Finance Committee.

a. Receive Assessment Collection Report.

b. Consider board member reimbursement for district meetings.

c. Receive monthly financial reports and approve payment of invoices.

d. Approve FY2023 Annual Financial Report and Audit from McCall Gibson Swedlund Barfoot PLLC.

6. Receive and consider creating a Southwest Management District 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.

7. Receive update from the Comprehensive Planning Study.

8. Receive updates and recommendations from the Business and Economic Development Committee.

a. Consider Amending Liberty Fest Budget.

b. Consider proposal from Up Standing Enterprises for Liberty Fest's additional marketing.

c. Consider Sponsorship request from Rupani Foundation for its Back to School Dive, Health Fair, and Business Expo at PlazAmericas Mall on August 10, 2024.

d. Sponsorship request from LEOA for its 16th Annual Greater Houston Area Asian Law Enforcement Officers Appreciation Gala at Lambo Ballroom on May 31, 2024.

e. Consider Sponsorship request from National Associate of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) for its AAPI Houston National Convention/Leadership Convention from July 25 – July 28 at the Marriott Marquis Houston.

f. Consider purchasing marketing materials/items.

9. Receive updates from the Public Safety Committee.

10. Receive updates and recommendations from the Environmental and Urban Design Committee.

a. Consider SMC Landscape work order for storing the cast stones.

b. Consider Williams Architectural Signage & Consultation work order to take down and replace the ID Marker panels.
