Governor Abbott has appointed Lee P. Mann to the Lower Neches Valley Authority (LNVA) Board of Directors, a term set to expire on July 28, 2027. The LNVA is tasked with conserving, controlling, and utilizing the waters of the Neches River and its tributaries, including storm and flood waters.

The authority oversees the storage, control, conservation, and distribution of storm and flood waters from the Neches River and its tributaries for various purposes such as irrigation, domestic use, industrial use, municipal use, and hydroelectric power generation. It can also sponsor and participate in economic development programs within the areas it serves with an aim to strengthen the economic base and further the state's economic development.

Lee P. Mann hails from Woodville where he owns and manages Mann Furniture and Appliance Ltd. He currently presides over the Rotary Club of Woodville while also being a member of Rotary District #5910 Finance Committee and Tyler County Development Foundation. Mann earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Abilene Christian University.
