Harris County-Houston Sports Authority Board of Directors met Feb. 22.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Call to order. 

2. Approval of Finance Committee Meeting Minutes from December 7, 2023. 

3. Discussion and review of unaudited 2023 year-to-date financials; and other matters related thereto. 

4. Discussion and review of the fourth quarter 2023 Investment Report, and review of unaudited 2023 year-to-date investment highlights; and other matters related thereto. 

5. Discussion and review of 2024 event budgets; and other matters related thereto. 

6. Review of Finance Task Force recommendations regarding defeasance of the 2004 MBIA-required repayments; and other matters related thereto. 

7. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the Committee shall deliberate in Executive Session on the following: consultation with attorneys on legal matters; deliberation on real estate matters; and deliberation on personnel matters. 

Reconvene in Public Session and announce any items from Executive Session; discussion and possible action on such items. 

Adjournment. 

* NO FINAL ACTION will be taken at this meeting. The Finance Committee will only discuss possible recommendations. All items and any recommendations discussed above MUST BE FURTHER DISCUSSED AND CONSIDERED by the full Board of Directors of the Harris County - Houston Sports Authority
