Greater Southeast Management District Board of Directors met Feb. 14.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

1. Determine quorum and call meeting to order.

2. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person.

State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privileges.)

6. Receive Updates and Recommendations from the Budget & Finance Committee:

a. Receive Financial Reports for the period ended December 31, 2023

b. Consider Recurring and Non-Recurring Expenses

c. Consider an Engagement letter from George Baugh III CPA for FY 2023 Auditing Services

7. Receive Updates and Recommendations from the Governance Committee:

a. Resolution Waiving Automatic Resignation of Board Members for Absenteeism from the Board of Directors of the Greater Southeast Management District

b. FY 2024 Board Retreat Update

c. Consider an Independent Consultant Agreement for FY 2024 Board Retreat Facilitator and Authorize Budget in a NotTo-Exceed Amount

8. Receive Updates and Recommendations from District Services and Improvements: Business and Economic Development

a. Consider OST Community Partnership Memorandum of Understanding for FY2024 Workshops for Business Owners and Authorize Budget in a Not-To-Exceed Amount Transportation and Local Mobility

b. Consider Purchasing Three (3) Additional Bus Shelters from Tolar Manufacturing for the Custom Bus Shelter Project and Authorize Budget in a Not-To-Exceed Amount

c. Consider a Memorandum Of Understanding Associated with the Brays Bayou Highway Safety Improvement Program

9. Minutes and Amended Minutes of Previous Meetings.
