Governor Greg Abbott recently praised the state's November employment data, describing it as a continuation of Texas' exceptional annual job growth. The Office of the Governor of Texas reports that the state maintains its position as the leader in job growth, with the previous month marking three new historic highs for job creation.

In a press release, Abbott championed Texas as a beacon of opportunity for entrepreneurs. "As we look to the new year, we will continue to work together and safeguard the promise of an even bigger, brighter Texas for generations to come," said Abbott.

The November report, released by both the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) and the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), reveals that Texas has the largest labor force at a record 15,192,900. This figure includes a new historic high of 14,576,500 Texans who are either employed or self-employed and another record high for total jobs at 14,094,900.

This data follows Governor Abbott's previous praise for Texas's consistent economic growth. According to his office, the state's annual growth rate surpasses that of the entire nation.
