Houston headquartered global real estate services company Stewart Information Services Corporation celebrated its 130th anniversary by ringing the closing bell at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on Oct. 17. The company, founded in Galveston, TX in 1892, has grown to become a global leader in the mortgage and real estate services industry with over 7,000 employees spread across about a dozen countries.

In an Oct. 11 Facebook post, Stewart Title expressed gratitude to its customers for their trust and loyalty over the past 130 years. The company highlighted its position as one of the industry's largest global title insurance underwriters and its strong financial stability.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Fred Eppinger acknowledged the role of Stewart Title's employees in the company's success. He emphasized the importance of the customer experience and praised the dedication and expertise of the company's workforce. Eppinger expressed confidence in the company's future and its ability to continue building on its legacy.

Stewart Title also announced another milestone: 30 years as a publicly listed entity on the NYSE. The company joined the NYSE in January 1994 and credited the listing as an important factor in its growth and success. Chief Financial Officer (CFO) David Hisey expressed the company's commitment to its partnership with the NYSE for years to come.
