Salata Franchisee Joe Piro is an experienced restaurant professional with more than three and a half decades of expertise in the franchise industry, per Salata Salad Kitchen. Following the establishment of multiple Salata locations, Piro's latest development agreement solidifies his position as the most extensive Salata franchisee, with a total of 21 restaurants under his ownership. Piro attributes his explosive growth to Salata's home office team and the company's strong dedication to its franchisees, which has allowed him to thrive.

"From day one, I fell in love with Salata. The response from the community is always overwhelmingly positive upon opening a restaurant."
Piro has six new locations meticulously planned, and construction on the first one, located at Valley Ranch Town Center in New Caney, TX, is scheduled to begin this month, according to Salata. There are also plans for additional locations in the greater Houston area. Salata noted that this will help them approach their goal of reaching 100 restaurants. With over 15 more openings slated for 2023, the brand is set to achieve this milestone by the end of the year.

Salata provides a menu featuring made-to-order salads and wraps, complemented by an assortment of soups, teas, and lemonades, according to their website. Their menu includes over 50 fresh toppings, which encompass a wide array of freshly prepared fruits, vegetables, and proteins crafted in-house daily, along with house-made salad dressings.
Salata noted that they utilize technology-driven innovations. They recently introduced a comprehensive "Refresh" program for all of their restaurants. This program officially debuted in 2022 and is designed to assist existing franchisees in revitalizing the appearance and ambiance of their Salata outlets. This includes an online order station and quick pickup options.
