Harris County-Houston Sports Authority Board of Directors met Aug. 3.

Here is the agenda provided by the board:

At such meeting, the Board will consider the following matters: 

1. Call to order and introduction of guests in attendance. 

2. Presentation and approval of the Minutes from the Board Meeting held on June 1, 2023, and Minutes from the Special Board Meeting held on June 26, 2023. 

3. Chairman's Report 

a. Update on State Highway 59/69 Project as it relates to Minute Maid Parking lots; and 

b. Discussion and possible action on a resolution relating to an Interlocal Agreement between the Authority and the Sports Authority Foundation, which will outline the responsibilities of both entities. 

4. Building Committee Update 

a. Ms. Lana Ramirez, Assistant General Manager & Vice President, Houston Dash, Houston Dynamo & Shell Energy Stadium, to present proposed Facility upgrades and improvements at Shell Energy Stadium; and 

b. Discussion and possible action on a resolution approving the request by the Dynamo Stadium, LLC, to make proposed improvements to Shell Energy Stadium; and other matters related thereto. r 

5. Finance Committee Update 

a. Discussion and review of unaudited year-to-date 2023 investment results; 

b. Discussion and review of unaudited year-to-date 2023 financials; 

c. Discussion and possible action on a resolution approving the renewal of the Interlocal Agreement between Harris County and the Authority for provision of the Authority's public funds investment service for a one-year period, effective July 31, 2023; and 

d. Discussion and possible action on a resolution relating to the Authority's participation in the Texas GSA (General Services Administration) Program, and Texas Multiple Award Schedule (TXMAS). 

6. Chief Executive Officer's Report 

a. Update on activities and sporting events; and 

b. Update regarding Brothers In Arms initiative. 

7. EXECUTIVE SESSION: Pursuant to provisions of Chapter 551, Texas Government Code, the Board shall deliberate in Executive Session on the following: consultation with attorneys on legal matters, pursuant to Section 551.071; deliberation on real estate matters, pursuant to Section 551.072; and deliberation on personnel matters, pursuant to Section 551.074. 

Reconvene in Public Session and announce any items from Executive Session; discussion and possible action on such items. 

8. Comments by Directors, if any.
