I. APPROVAL OF THE FEBRUARY 27, 2023, HISTORIC PRESERVATION APPEALS BOARD MINUTES AND MAY 18, 2023, TRAINING MINUTES.

Commission action: Approved

II. CONSIDERATION OF AND POSSIBLE ACTION ON AN APPEAL OF THE DECISION OF THE HOUSTON ARCHAEOLOGICAL AND HISTORICAL COMMISSION ON *MAY 18, 2023, FOR A CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS FOR 716 SILVER ST IN OLD SIXTH WARD HISTORIC DISTRICT.

Staff recommendation: None

Commission action: Affirmed the decision of the HAHC and send back to HAHC, with the amendment that work could move forward on additional property that would not include the awning.

Staff recommendation: None

Commission action: Affirmed the HAHC decision with the amendment that applicant work with staff on a visual alternative to the required 1 x 4 tongue and groove porch flooring, without a complete replacement.
