She was predeceased by : her husband Howard Bosier, Jr.; her siblings, Brenda Merritt McCray and Alfred Merritt; and her granddaughter Eleshia Jernigan. She is survived by : her children, Cecil Bernard Merritt (Vivian), Sharon and Shonda Bosier; her grandchildren, Colin, Shaurice, Cecil Jr., Todd, Enee and Azsanique; her siblings, Reginald Merritt, Arthur Merritt, Jr., Valencia Shorter (Jerry) and Zettie Merritt-Edwards; and her children, JonClaire and George Davis. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 7th 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Holman Street Baptist Church (3501 Holman St, Houston, TX 77004). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 7th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 11th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
