He is survived by : his wife Chong Ok; his son Myong; his grandchild Aeran; his children, Sung, Myung and Aeran; and his grandchildren, Jin, Alex and Ella.

A mass will be held on Friday, June 2nd 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Saint Andrew KIM Catholic Church (1706 Bingle Rd, Houston, TX 77055). A burial will be held on Friday, June 2nd 2023 at 11:30 AM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079-1407).
