With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Mae Williams of Houston, Texas, born in New Boston, Texas, who passed away on May 8, 2023 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her husband Joe Mack Williams; her mother Georgia Roberts; her siblings, Allean Meadows, Willie C., Mary Dewberry and Jodie Dewberry Jr.; and her grandchildren, Kyle Demon Williams and Ashley Dudley.
She is survived by : her daughter Edna Marie; her siblings, Minnie Stephens, Annie Dewberry, Debra Green and James Dewberry (Helen); her children, Mattie Williams, Alma Williams-Ward (Columbus), Linda Williams and Norman Ray Williams; and her grandchildren, Jerald Dudley (Gilda), Tonya Williams, Shonda Dudley, Kris Ward (Gina), Kristie Epps (Michael), Keevin Williams and Theron (Stephanie) of Washington.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 20th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the Liberty Baptist Church (12200 Fondren Rd, Houston, TX 77071). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, May 20th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22nd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
