It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marvin Currie of Huntsville, Texas, born in Zwolle, Louisiana, who passed away on May 14, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John Currie and Pearl (Benny Helms); and his siblings, Sonny, James and Johnnie Pearl Keel.

He is survived by : his wife Sherri Glynn; his sons, Kirk (Helen), Kevin (Becky), Brick (Becky) and Krea (Paula); his sister Lorine Henn; his grandchildren, Brock Currie (Kelly), Blake Currie (Morgan), Blaine Currie, Chelsea Pecikozic (Zoran), Courtney Bednar, Brittany Malek (Eric), Taylor Currie, Palmer Currie (Ashley) and Parker Currie (Molly); and his great grandchildren, Lil Brock, Brynlee, Brett, Chezley, Greyson, Daphne, Nora, Rhett, Riley, Remington, Archer and Elliott. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 22nd 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at 13102 North Fwy, Houston, TX 77060. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 22nd 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Monday, May 22nd 2023 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
