1) Director’s Report. Brandon Mosley reported for Director David Fields

2) Chair’s Report. Chair Tom Compson gave the Chair’s Report:

• Disappointed that there wasn’t better attendance for this subcommittee; especially when there are two excellent speakers on two wonderful topics.

3) Public Comment:

• Comments from Kevin Strickland:

o On 11th Street, since the bike lane was installed, it made a very dangerous street safe.

o There are vehicles that drive on the MKT trail from Taylor Street to Houston Ave, this started after the bollards were removed; request to put the bollards back.

o Request not to remove the bollards from MKT from Spring to

Taylor.

o Collars were left on the MKT bridge that at night are dangerous for bicyclist, especially when there’s a lack of lighting.

• There was a very robust discussion regarding trail intersections with streets, including a suggestion by the Chair that the stop signs should be switched from the trails to the streets.
