It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jo Henderson of Houston, Texas, born in Austin, Texas, who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Donald Ray Henderson; her father Jim Wilson; her step-father Harley Kay; and her siblings, Carl Alexander and Judy Wilson Meyers.
She is survived by : her children, Patricia Martin Hill (Roger) of League City, Penny Martin Owens (Ray) of Liberty, MO, Peggy Martin Dailey of Webster, Michael L. Henderson (Paula) of Alvin, Donna Henderson Hulet (Terry) of League City and Laura Henderson Strain (Vernon) of Alvin; and her brothers, James Wilson and Joe Wilson (Tammy). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21st 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Park Chapel (300 Oak Park Dr, Alvin, TX 77511). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd 2023 at 11:00 AM at the Alvin Lutheran Church (1800 FM 1462, Alvin, TX 77511).
