She was predeceased by : her parents, Raven Jornitzky and Esther Jornitzky; her brother Saul; her sister-in-law Celia Gellman; her brother Harry Jornitzky; and her son Malcolm Slatko.
She is survived by : her family Flo; her husband Leon Slatko; her children, Barton Slatko (Betty) of Houston and Elissa Varadi (Tom) of Houston, Texas; her daughter-in-law Leslie Slatko of Houston, Texas.; and her grandchildren, Elissa Vingers (late Scott) of Sacramento, California, Lynne Dorsky (Brendon Murphy) of Rutland, Vermont, Kitt Slatko of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Varadi of Houston, Texas, Chaim Slatko of Jerusalem, Israel, Evan Varadi (Jennifer) of Houston, Texas and Lauren Slatko of Austin, Texas.. She is also survived by six great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and numerous relatives.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 23rd 2023 at 3:00 PM at the Sophia and Jack Memorial Chapel at Beth Yeshurun Post Oak (7445 Awty School Ln, Houston, TX 77055).
