She was predeceased by : her husband Rogelio Garza. She is survived by : her children, Delia Lozano (Johnny), Minerva Quintanilla (Roy), Angel Garza (Lila), Nelly Gonzalez (Jaime), Lilia Garcia (Frank) and Sylvia Drew (Chris). She is also survived by 19 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 15th 2023 at 10:30 AM at the Beresford Funeral Service (13501 Alief Clodine Rd, Houston, TX 77082). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 15th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, April 15th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Park East Cemetery (21620 Gulf Fwy, Webster, TX 77598).
