It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Marion Lawson (Houston, Texas), who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Samuel Lawson and Aline Lawson (Wade); and his siblings, Jack Lawson (Pat), Samuel "Sonny" Lawson (late Ruth) and Juanita Boggess (late Carlton).
He is survived by : his wife Lea Lawson; his children, Kevin Lawson (Nancy) and Leanna Lawson; his grandchildren, Anissa Gutierrez, Ariel Saldaña (Pedro), Andrew Lawson, Samantha Lawson, Jessica Lawson and Stephen Lawson; his great grandchild Nathan Saldaña; and his siblings, Billie Stansel (late Bill) and Carl Lawson (Virgie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 10th 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 11th 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, April 11th 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location.
