She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Merced Luna and Carolina Garza Luna; her husband Noe; her children, Noe Ortiz (Vanessa), Natalia Barboza (Moises), Nariel Olsen (Brian) and Nathanael Ortiz; her grandchildren, Emleigh, Mia, Bella, Keira, Samuel, Micah, Adele, Bianca, Hosanna, Enoch, Caden and Adeline; her sister Alpha Nañez; and also Merced Luna.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 6th 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 7th 2023 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 7th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
