It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Marie Wells of Houston, Texas, who passed away on March 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Arnold Marquart and Alice Marquart (Robert "Bob" Wells); her siblings, William Arnold, Betty Jane and Bill Marquart; her husband Robert Lynn Wells; her children, Stephen Wells (Kathy), Sandra Bishoff (Mike), Robin Stephens (John) and Kay Barcus (Bill); her children-in-law, Margaret Wells and John Stephens; and her sister-in-law Jeanne Marquart. She was also cherished by her nine grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren, and one great, great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 30th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, March 30th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, March 30th 2023 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
