He was predeceased by : his parents, Macedonio Cabrera and Santos Sylva. He is survived by : his children, Stephen, Camille, Claudine and Emilio; his wife Alice Leal Cabrera; his children-in-law, Mario Tamez (Bubba) and Flor Cabrera; his grandchildren, Isabella, Marcella, Giselle, Ilana, Ethan, Amber, Alyssa and Ryan; his great grandchildren, Stephen Cabrera and Camille Cabrera; and his sisters, Irma Macias and Lupe Velasquez.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12th 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home-Cypress Creek (9149 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77095). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 13th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Brookside Cypress Creek Chapel (9149 Hwy 6 N, Houston, TX 77095). A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 13th 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Cemetery (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079).
