She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Everett Ames and Marian Nester Ames; her brother Charles Nester Ames; and her son Donald Robert Jablonowski, Jr.. She is survived by : her children, Suzanne J. Shivitz (Mickey Shivitz), Elizabeth J. Styers, John Styers, Diane Jablonowski, Merritt Ames, Reagan Marie, Riley Anne Shivitz, Westin Robert, Kendall Ames Jablonowski and Jeremy Copley-Wood; her grandchildren, John David and Brittany Elizabeth Styers; and her friend Jeanne Layne.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 17th 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (10221 Ella Lee Ln, Houston, TX 77042).
