She was predeceased by : her parents, Celso Casares and Maria Luera Casares. She is survived by : her children, Ignacio Meza (Nick), Dolores M. Henry (Larry J. Henry), Melva M. Guerrero (Frank G. Guerrero), Jessica Meza and Francisco Meza III (Alicia Meza); her husband Francisco Meza, Jr.; her grandchildren, Leticia Ruvalcaba, Lilia Sanchez, Stephanie Meza, Francisco Meza IV, Nicholas A. Meza, Nicole D., Laurie M. Meza, Allison P. Henry, David S. Barajas, Frank G. Guerrero II and Jordan A. Meza; and her siblings, Alice M. Jessee, Celso, Edward and Robert Casares. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4th 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 4th 2023 at 7:00 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Thursday, January 5th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, January 5th 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church (2405 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003). A committal service will be held on Thursday, January 5th 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery (6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023).
