He was predeceased by : his parents, Hessie Miller Williams and J. H. Williams; his siblings, Mildred McClelland, E. E. "Babe" McClelland, Pauline Gilbert and Randle Williams; and his nieces, Joyce Tillery and Catherine McClelland Hopkins.

He is survived by : his wife Anita Louise Jaynes; his daughters, Karen Jaynes Williams and LeAnn Vaughn; his grandson William Raymond Vaughn (Katherine Elizabeth Vaughn); his great grandchildren, Kingston Christopher Vickers, Indie Elizabeth Vickers, Jackson Reef Vickers and Brazos Belle Vaughn; and his nieces and nephews, Ennis Earl "Mack" McClelland (Freda), Johnnie Hubert "Pat" McClelland, Danny Gilbert, Tommy Gilbert (Brenda), Ronnie Gilbert, Jerry Gilbert (Tammy), Bobby Gilbert (Bobbie), Connie Treat, Cindy Langdon (Dale) and Sharon Heikkenen. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, and other extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 2nd 2023 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Memorial Oaks Funeral Home (13001 Katy Fwy, Houston, TX 77079). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 2nd 2023 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, January 3rd 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Brookeland Cemetery (505 Co Rd 212, Brookeland, TX 75931).
