He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Thomas Pinkney Cook and Lela Velven James; his siblings, Doris "Rusty", Billie "Candy" and Thomas "Tommy" Jr.; his cousin Honolulu; his children, Grant Cook (Victoria Cook), Sheri Jackson (Chris Jackson) and Teri White (Bill White); his grandchildren, Timmy, Devary, Christopher, Elizabeth, Stephanie, Margot and Valerie; and his wife Sylvia "Babs" Cook.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday, November 21st 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home (12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077).
