Sauceda of Houston, Texas, born in Orange Grove, Texas, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Hilaria Bautista and Faustino Gomez; her husband Nicolas P. Sauceda Sr.; and her brothers, Cesario Gomez, Faustino Gomez and Julio Gomez.

She is survived by : her children, Nicolas Sauceda Jr. (Vickie Sauceda), Rene Sauceda (Anita Sauceda), Elida Meinhardt (David Meinhardt), Olga Sauceda and Alma S. Garza (Roel Garza Sr.); her grandchildren, Christopher Meinhardt, April Meza, Daniel Meza Jr., Lauren Sauceda, Corene Cavanagh, David Meinhardt Jr., Ariel Garza and Roel Garza Jr.; and her sisters, Anna Gomez, Gloria Morales, Emily Gomez, Elena Gomez and Dixie Tamboro. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 11th 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039). A rosary was held on Friday, November 11th 2022 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 12th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Brookside Memorial Park (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
