He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Forrest M. Rogers and Josephine Holman Rogers; his siblings, Janice Rogers Cobb, Gerald Ivan Rogers and Mervin Holman Rogers of Goleta, California.; his wife Dorothy Hyndman Rogers (Dot); his children, Jane Rogers Knowlton (Henry Kevin Knowlton) and Michael Forrest Rogers (Janell Brammer Rogers); and his grandchildren, Paul Rogers Knowlton of Houston, Texas, Sarah Jane Knowlton of Houston, Texas, William DeForrest Rogers (Frances Ainsworth Rogers) of Houston and Charles Milton Rogers (Lia Cooley) of Arlington, Virginia.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 8th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel (1101 Antoine Dr, Houston, TX 77055).
