Attending a World Series game is on many Astros fan’s bucket list, but it doesn’t come cheap.

While the fan base is excited for the team’s return trip to the Fall Classic, current ticket prices aren’t anything to cheer about, according to a report from Houston CBS affiliate KHOU.

Per KHOU, Armando Palomino would love to mark his 38th birthday with seats for Game 1 at Minute Maid Park on Friday, but one look at the triple and quadruple-digit prices made him reconsider.

Stormy Dunn, who’s married, hilariously told the station that she may need an alternative to procure the hottest tickets of the season.

Meagan Clanahan summed up most fans’ feelings toward the prices.

“All of the people who have supported the team all year long and have been in the high seats,” Clanahan said, KHOU reported. “This just takes them out of completely experiencing what is going to be hopefully a win for the Astros.”

Citing secondary market online ticket seller Gametime, KHOU reported that tickets for the games in Houston will set customers back at least $1,000 as of Tuesday.

In Philadelphia, CNBC reported, tickets to games at Citizens Bank Park are steeper, with a price tag of around $3,000.

The Astros are in their fourth World Series since their controversial win in 2017 while the Phillies made it back after a dozen-year drought.

For ticket-deprived Astros fans, there’s another way to experience the Fall Classic at Minute Maid Park without breaking the bank.

Houston ABC affiliate KTRK reported that the ballclub will host watch parties at the stadium for Games 3, 4, and if necessary, Game 5.

The cost? A dollar that’ll go toward the Astros Foundation.

Viewing vouchers can be claimed at the Astros’ website.
