He was predeceased by : his grandmother Ignacia N. Vidales; his mother Frances V. Cervantes; his step-father Jose F. P. Cervantes; and his wife Caroline Garcia. He is survived by : his siblings, Rosalie C. Vasquez and Joe F. P. Cervantes Jr.; his son Frank Garcia Jr.; his daughter-in-law Leigha Garcia; and his grandchildren, Harrison, Leopold and Gwen Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 24th 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 25th 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the American Heritage Funeral Home (10710 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 25th 2022 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 25th 2022 from 1:15 PM to 1:45 PM at the Houston National Cemetery (10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038).
