He was predeceased by : his parents, Seline Pelegrin and George Knapp, Jr.; his siblings, Freddy Knapp, Bobby Knapp and Mary Knapp; and his former wife Anita Fulghum Knapp.
He is survived by : his friends, Hubert Askew, Ron Van Gilder, Russ Jacobe, Donnie Brugge, Marilyn (George) and Brian Paine; his caregivers, Dede, Elisha, Inelia, Kehinde, Maria, Musu and Titi; his children, David Knapp (Leslie) of Houston, Lauren Kenneally (Matthew) of Houston and Jennifer Berridge (Jason) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, Olivia Knapp, Griffen, Graham Kenneally, Britton, Mac and Emile Berridge; his brother John Knapp (Cathy) of Maplewood, NJ; his nephews, William "Bill" Harris of Jonesboro, AR and John Knapp, Jr. (family: Ben Knapp, Christina Dieter, Claire Kelley); and his girlfriend Terry Mooneyham of Republic, MO..
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 24th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bradshaw-Carter Memorial & Funeral Services (1734 W Alabama St, Houston, TX 77098). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 24th 2022 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, September 26th 2022 at the Calvary Cemetery (1663 Elvis Presley Blvd, Memphis, TN 38106).
