She was predeceased by : her brother Ernesto; and her son Hector Gerardo. She is survived by : her parents, Francisca Maldonado and Remigio Maldonado; her daughters, Jessica, Jasmine, Joscelin, Jaquelyn and Jacquelyn; her grandson Hector Gerardo; and her sisters, Irma, Patricia and Rebeca.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 12th 2022 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Brookside Funeral Home (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 13th 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (501 Tidwell Rd, Houston, TX 77022). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 13th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Brookside Memorial Park (13747 Eastex Fwy, Houston, TX 77039).
