Margarita Covarrubias Garcia, 71, of Katy, Texas, passed away on August 29, 2022. She was born in Bocas, SLP on February 15, 1951. Margarita Covarrubias Garcia was married to Basilio Trejo Zamarripa on July 6, 1974.

She is preceded by her parents, Maria De Jesus Garcia and Roberto Covarrubias Nino and her husband, Basilio Trejo Zamarripa

She is survived by her sons and daughters, Irma Veronica Covarrubias, Esmeralda Trejo Covarrubias, Jose Guadalupe Trejo Covarrubias, Rene Trejo Covarrubias, Basilio Trejo Covarrubias, and Claudia Trejo Covarrubias.

Grandsons and Granddaughters, Jason Navarrete, Jesse Navarrete, Geneve Navarrete, Brandon Flores, Lindsey Flores, Evelyn Flores, Esmeralda Trejo, Jonathan Trejo, Edwin Trejo, Osiel Trejo, Valeria Trejo, Sebastian Trejo, Jackeline Trejo, Ibrahim Trejo, Jacob Trejo, Natalie Trejo, Christopher Mendoza, and Christo Mendoza.

Great Grandchildren and Great Granddaughters Ethan Navarrete, Jazzlyn Navarrete, Kayleigh Navarrete, and Chloe Navarrete.

Brothers and Sisters Victor Covarrubias, Ricarda Covarrubias, Carmela Covarrubias, Leonor Covarrubias, Sylvestra Covarrubias, Agustin Covarrubias, Epifania Covarrubias, Francisco Covarrubias, and Ofelia Covarrubias.

The family will receive friends for a visit on Thursday, September 1, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited promptly at 7:30 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 2, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. following with burial at Brookside Memorial Park.
