She was predeceased by : her parents, Homer Sidney Gibson and Velma Greenville Gibson; her grandparents, Arthur, Annie Greenville, William Homer and Lavada Gibson; and her niece Amy Gibson Wooten.

She is survived by : her husband Lewis Cobler; her children, Jennifer Ryberg (Mark), Jason Candy (Nema) and Julie Candy-Johnson (Jason); her grandchildren, Hunter Ryberg, Hailey Ryberg, Camden Candy, William Candy, Jacob Johnson and Nathan Johnson; her brothers, Travis Gibson (Deanna) and Michael Gibson; her nephew Marc Gibson; and her pets, Kitty, Holly and Homer.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (111 E Heritage Dr, Friendswood, TX 77546). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 27th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
