He was predeceased by : his parents, Travis Self and Mildred Self; his sister Doris Barker; his mother-in-law Dorothy Baker; and his grandchildren, Carrie Self and Justin Eaker.

He is survived by : his wife Dorothy M. Self; his children, Kenneth E. Self, Twanya Weber of Tangee Self, C. T and Tabitha Eaker (Richard); and his brother J. Wayne Self.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 26th 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Mt Zion Baptist Church (3739 FM1712, Rockdale, TX 76567).
