Brays Oaks Management District Board of Directors met Aug. 16.
Here is the agenda provided by the board:
1. Determine quorum; call meeting to order.
2. Recognize area businesses identified for BOMD Business Incentive Program.
3. Receive public comments. (A statement of no more than 3 minutes may be made on items of general relevance. There will be no yielding of time to another person. State law prohibits the Board Chair or members of the Board from commenting on any statement or engaging in dialogue without an appropriate agenda item being posted in accordance with the Texas Open Meetings Law. Comments should be directed to the entire Board, not individual members. Engaging in verbal attacks or comments intended to insult, abuse, malign or slander any individual shall be cause for termination of time privilege).
4. Approve Minutes of meeting held on July 19, 2022.
5. Receive update from Harris County Precinct 4 Commissioner Jack Cagle.
6. Receive Assessment Collection Report.
7. Receive and consider monthly financial report and approve invoices for payment.
8. Receive and approve invoices to be paid by Willow Waterhole Greenway Conservancy.
9. Receive update and recommendations from Business and Economic Development Committee.
a. Receive presentation on Flock camera system.
b. Consider distribution and production of outreach materials by SNR Creative.
10. Receive update and recommendations from Public Safety Committee.
a. Consider support funding for HPD S. Gessner Division - Gang Unit training.
b. Consider renewal of Interlocal Agreement between Harris County, on behalf of Office of Harris County Attorney, and Harris County Improvement District # 5 (Brays Oaks Management District) for nuisance abatement services.
11. Receive update from Beautification and Urban Design Committee.
12. Receive update from Infrastructure Committee.
13. Receive Executive Director’s Report.
