We are sad to announce that on August 15, 2022, at the age of 65, Maria Elena Rodriguez (Houston, Texas), born in Brownsville, Texas passed away. She is survived by : her father Fernando Gonzalez; her children, Ismael Jr., Veronica (Gerardo), Eric (Erika), Crystal and Aaron (Abigail); her husband Ismael Rodriguez; her grandchildren, Solomon, Caleb, Aria, Jayden, Eliana, Eliza and Annabelle; and her siblings, Elias (Sara), Freddy (Sylvia), Leticia (Francisco), Carlos (Liza), Laura (Antonio) and Rosa. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, along with a very large extended family and numerous friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 24th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Felix H. Morales Funeral Home (2901 Canal St, Houston, TX 77003). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 24th 2022 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 25th 2022 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Name Catholic Church (1920 Marion St, Houston, TX 77009).
