He was predeceased by : his wife Antonia Charles; his daughter Nora (Norita); and his parents, Louis Charles and Concepcion Charles. He is survived by : his siblings, Angelita Charles Valdez (John), Rosita Charles, Caterina Charles Ramirez Robles, Herminia Charles Silvas (Selso), Jesus Charles, George Juan Charles (Maria), Natividad Charles, Louis Richard Charles, Jr. (Enedina) and Henry Charles (Katy) of Bay City, Texas.; his children, John Charles (Michelle Charles) of Channelview, Texas., Daniel Charles Jr. (Gloria Charles) of Friendswood, Texas. and Apolonia Charles Freeman of Channelview, Texas.; his grandchildren, Mary Freeman Schatte of Channelview, Texas. and Frank Andrew Freeman of Houston, Texas.; and his great grandchildren, Seth Freeman, Briana Schatte, Haley Schatte and Nathaniel Schatte of Jacinto City, Texas.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 25th 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the San Jacinto Funeral Home (14659 East Fwy, Houston, TX 77015).
