He was predeceased by : his parents, Andrew Simmons, Sr. and Hilda Sellers Simmons; his nephew Aaron Lee Simmons Jr.; his great-niece Chloe Love; and his great-nephew Marquis A. Branch II.

He is survived by : his siblings, Ferness Craig, Milton Earl, Marilyn Joyce, Aaron Boyce and Eric Dion; his spouse Venesca Spriggins; his children, Tvon Lourie, Chandler O'Keith, Faith DeAnn and Terrion Denise; his grandson Ryan Elijah; and his sisters-in-law, Signora Simmons and Mazella Simmons. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, & extended family and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, July 15th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church (5530 Van Fleet St, Houston, TX 77033). A funeral service was held on Friday, July 15th 2022 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
