He was predeceased by : his father Alton (Linda) of Lafayette, LA.; and his brothers, Aaron, Allen, Nelson and Rickey Anderson.

He is survived by : his wife Gynelda Anderson (LeBlanc) of Fresno, TX.; his children, Alton Anderson III (Sarah) of Pearland, TX. and Leanette Anderson of Fresno Tx; his grandsons, Payton, Earnest, Xander and August; his siblings, Rochelle of Lafayette, LA, Priscilla of Sulfur, LA, Beverly (Lee) of Lafayette, LA, Agatha (Percy) of Baton Rouge, LA, Ruth (Marion) of Baton Rouge, LA., Eddie Sr. of Houston, TX, Hilman of Scott, LA and Alvin (Doris) of Baton Rouge, LA; his father Clifton; and his siblings-in-law, Eddie Jr. (Kissha), Diane (Harry) of New Orleans, LA, Linda of New Orleans, LA and Margaret (Joe) of Copperas Cove, TX.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, July 9th 2022 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Crespo Funeral Home - Broadway Chapel (4136 Broadway St, Houston, TX 77093). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 9th 2022 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
