It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Harvey (Houston, Texas), who passed away on June 17, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her brothers, Raymond and Irvin Marcelous; her children, Lois and Melvin; and her husband Deacon William Harvey.

She is survived by : her daughter Sheila Fisher (Charles); her grandchildren, Yolanda Henderson (Kevin), Melvin Moody Jr., Charlotte Newsom (Tavarus), Rebekah Fisher and Tamara Colbert; and her great grandchildren, Justin Henderson, Kara Henderson, Kendall Henderson, Brayden Moody, Kaydence Moody, Kingston Moody, Kennedy Fisher, Avery Newsom, Aubrey Newsom, Sanai Williams, Braylon Colbert, Landon Colbert and Tatum Colbert. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Saturday, June 25th 2022 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Laws Memorial Church of God (4807 Wayne St, Houston, TX 77026). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, June 25th 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
